Post Cards Maybe?

I'm just practicing a little- thinking someday- it would be fun to have a gallery of nature photos Bree and I could turn into post cards! Flowers are so fun with all the bright colors and each is so unique.

Drift Creek

I haven't blogged many pictures lately and Jodie told me to get on that! :) So here are some nature ones from this weekend's hike! We were on a suspension bridge that was 100ft above a creek and 240ft long..the kids got it swinging! I am not one for heights- but the view was beautiful!

Gathering Cousins Together!

Cousins=Best Friends! What fun we had photographing these Beautiful Children!

Rain rain Go away! We will be adding more pictures of these lovely kids after the weekend , it was too windy and rainy to go outside during this shoot so we had to schedule them again for a Hopefully "Sunny" day! Luckily this house has awesome natural light so we scored on that, but we want to see those pretty dresses prancing around in some flowers!!

Miracle Twins turn Two!!

When we were invited to a birthday party for these two AWESOME little guys, we were all over it! We had the opportunity to photograph them at Christmas and it's amazing just how much they have grown since then!!
Happy Birthday Boys ! 2 RULES!

LOVE THIS!

I loved this quote that M. Russell Ballard used in his talk today. "...the biggest mistake I made as a parent is the one that most of us make...I did not live in the moment enough. This is particularly clear now that the moment is gone, captured only in photographs. There is one picture of the three of [my children] sitting in the grass on a quilt in the shadow of the swing set on a summer day, ages 6, 4 and 1. And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less." - Anna Quindlen

Let us Stop and take some Pictures!!!

Just Pretty!

Its not like me (Jodie) to take many pictures of Nature-but lately I have Soo many of my kids(can you have too many?) anyways, I still need to Practice with my new camera so I thought I would give Good Ol' Nature a try! Wow! I actually really liked it! The best part is.... Nature stands still!!!!! I'm not yelling, bribing or threatening the flowers or moss to just give me one more smile! This was actually very relaxing and I did learn a ton about my camera! So you will probably be seeing more nature pictures from me. Plus they are Just Simply Pretty!
